Position Summary/Objective:
This position is responsible for working in close collaboration with the internal project team and the customer to manage the successful delivery of client projects within the defined scope, budget and timeline.
Essential Functions/Job Duties:
  • Coordinate knowledge transfer between sales and professional services at the beginning of the project cycle.
  • Assist in pre-sales meetings to help the sales team determine scope and estimate the work.
  • Complete projects on time, within scope and budget, per client specifications.
  • Ensure administrative set-up of project, including billing and invoicing.
  • Work with team leads or regional managers to schedule and coordinate project team resources.
  • Coordinate and facilitate project kick-off meetings to introduce team members and present project scope, deliverables, and timelines in order to ensure understanding of project expectations.
  • Facilitate internal project team update meetings. Act as a project representative to validate the design of solution and assist with high-level and detailed requirements. Document and send meeting notes to project team.
  • Communicate regularly with the project team to check in and manage risks in order to mitigate and address issues.
  • Provide status reports to clients and internal stakeholders: Issue tracking and resolution, implementation progress, timelines and budget.
  • Approve weekly timesheets from project team and submit to client for billing.
  • Draft change orders and submit to client for approval when work is out of scope based on the Statement of Work.
  • Remove potential impediments to project success.
  • When project is closing, coordinate and manage a go-live event with the customer.
  • Handoff to transition project to the support team.

Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in direct project management or customer facing experience within the technology industry.
  • Committed to the company, peers and team members.
  • Maintains professionalism in appearance, communications and interactions.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project and Visio is preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).
  • Certified Scrum Master or previous experience with scrum and agile methodology preferred (Midwest/Central region positions).
  • PMP certification is a plus.
