DESCRIPTION
Position Summary/Objective:
Support the sales team by working with prospective customers using a consultative approach to clearly understand and define their business problems and provide a vision for how we can help solve those problems. Develop a proof-of-concept for potential technical solutions that will address the customer's business issues. This includes identifying which technologies and process approach will be used in order to best address the prospective client's needs and requirements.
 
Essential Functions/Job Duties:
  • Work with the Sales Organization to identify customer business objectives, build proof of concepts, conduct solution demonstrations, and support ongoing technical discussions with end users during the sales process.
  • Assist the sales team during meetings with prospects and existing customers. Collaborate on customer issues, pricing models and architecture of the solution.
  • Assist in delivering differentiating value through the use of technology and business process improvement.
  • Assist sales with responding to proposals by providing the technical expertise and architecture of the proposed solution.
  • Work closely with sales management, professional services teams, and other internal partners to solve unique customer requirements in order to help achieve the overall sales plan objectives.
  • Respond to customer questions related to the software.
  • Learn and understand new technologies.Participates in local, regional, and national sales events and webinars.
  • Communicate complex IT solutions in simple terms
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree or High School Diploma with several years of experience.
  • Must have knowledge of Hyland’s OnBase product in order to design, configure and deliver customized proof of concepts related to clients requirements. This includes an understanding of OnBase core functionality as well as Workflow concepts. OnBase WorkView experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of capture solutions such as those offered by Hyland and Kofax a plus.
  • Strong communication and written skills in order to perform customer facing requirements analysis and be able to articulate findings, solution scope, and suggested approach to both internal resources and clients.
  • Previous Software Solution Architect or Software Pre-Sales Engineering experience.
  • Must have experience in delivering or providing pre-sales support for Enterprise Content Management solutions within various industries.
